Comment statuses

Every comment in Huddlekit has one of four statuses:

StatusMeaning
OpenNew feedback that has not been addressed yet.
In ReviewBeing reviewed or awaiting a decision.
In ProgressActively being worked on.
ResolvedCompleted or fixed.

All new comments start as Open. Anyone viewing a comment — including guests on a share link — can change its status from the comment marker popover or from the sidebar.

Changing status

From the widget

Click on a comment marker to open its popover. Use the status dropdown to change the status. The marker color updates to reflect the new status.

From the board

Every project has a Tasks button (the kanban icon) in its toolbar. Open it to see that project's feedback on a board organized into four columns — Open, In Progress, In Review, and Resolved. Drag and drop comments between columns to change their status.

Filtering comments

In the comments sidebar, you can filter by status:

  • Open
  • In Review
  • In Progress
  • Resolved

Select one or more statuses to narrow down the list. This is helpful when you want to focus on unresolved feedback or review what has been completed.

Sorting comments

Sort the comment list by:

  • Newest (default)
  • Oldest
  • Priority — highest priority first: Critical, then Medium, then Low.
  • Activity — most recently active first.
  • Due date
  • Effort

Tasks board

Open a project's Tasks button to see all of its feedback on a board:

  • Four columns for each status — Open, In Progress, In Review, and Resolved.
  • Drag and drop to update status.
  • Sort within columns by date, priority, and more.
  • Comment cards show the author, priority, reply count, and details like device type or page path.
