How billing works
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Annual plans include a discount.
- Your billing cycle starts on the day you upgrade.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
- All project types (websites, media, and web apps) count toward the same project limit.
Changing your plan
- Go to Billing in the sidebar.
- Click Manage billing.
- You will be taken to the Stripe billing portal where you can change your plan, update payment details, and view invoices.
When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle. When downgrading, the new rate takes effect at the start of the next cycle.
Cancelling your plan
To cancel, go to Billing in the sidebar and click Manage billing. This opens the Stripe portal where you can cancel your subscription.
Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, the workspace reverts to the Starter (Free) plan and its limits apply from that point forward.
What happens after a downgrade or cancellation
Your existing data — projects, comments, files, and team members — is not deleted. However, once your workspace is on the Free plan, you will not be able to:
- Create new projects beyond the 1-project limit
- Invite new members beyond 3
- Upload files larger than the free plan limits
Work already in the workspace remains accessible.
Who can manage billing
Only the workspace owner can access billing settings and make subscription changes.
Storage usage
Your storage usage is tracked across all media projects in your workspace. You can see your current usage and your plan's storage limit on the Billing page.
