How billing works

  • Plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Yearly billing saves you the equivalent of about 2 months compared with paying monthly.
  • Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
  • All project types — websites, documents, and web apps — count toward the same workspace.

Changing your plan

  1. Open Billing in your workspace.
  2. Compare the plans and choose the one you want, or click Manage billing to manage an existing subscription.
  3. Checkout and plan changes are handled securely through Stripe, where you can also update your payment details and view invoices.

When you upgrade, you're charged a prorated amount for the rest of your current billing cycle. When you downgrade, the new rate takes effect at the start of your next cycle.

Cancelling your plan

To cancel, open Billing and click Manage billing to open the Stripe portal, where you can cancel your subscription.

Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your workspace moves to the Free plan, but your data is preserved.

What happens after a downgrade or cancellation

Your existing data — projects, comments, files, and team members — is never deleted. Once you're on a smaller plan, you simply can't exceed that plan's limits going forward (for example, adding members beyond the included seats, or uploading files above the plan's size limit). Everything already in your workspace stays accessible.

Who can manage billing

Only the workspace owner can open billing settings and make subscription changes.

Storage usage

Your storage is shared across every project in your workspace. You can see your current usage and your plan's storage limit on the Billing page.
