Global notification settings
Your global settings control email notifications across all projects. To access them:
- Click your name or avatar at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Select Account.
- Scroll to the Email notifications section.
There are three toggles:

| New replies & mentions | Sends an email when someone replies to your comment or @mentions you anywhere in your workspace. |
| New comments digest | Sends a periodic digest of new comments on projects you are a member of. |
| Product tips & updates | Occasional emails from Huddlekit about new features and tips. |
All three are on by default. These are master switches — turning one off here disables it across every project.
Per-project notification settings
You can mute notifications for individual projects without touching your global settings. Open any project, document, or web app, then open the Settings dropdown and toggle:
- Email notifications: Replies & mentions — for replies and mentions on this project only.
- Email notifications: New comments — for the new comments digest on this project only.
Per-project toggles are only available if the matching global toggle is on. If the global toggle is off, the per-project option is disabled.
This lets you stay subscribed to active projects while silencing ones you no longer need to follow.
What triggers a notification

There are no notifications for comment status changes.
Guest notifications
Guests who leave feedback through a share link or web app widget do not have notification settings. Whether they receive emails depends entirely on whether they provided an email address when they commented:
- With an email address — guests receive reply and mention notifications automatically.
- Without an email address — no notifications are sent.
Guests cannot unsubscribe or adjust preferences.
