Access your account settings

Click your name or avatar at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Account.

Profile

Display name

Your display name appears on comments, replies, and in member lists. You can change it at any time from the account page.

Email address

Your email address is shown but cannot be changed directly. If you signed in with Google, your email is managed by your Google account. Contact support if you need to update your email.

Profile picture

Your profile picture comes from your Google account if you signed in with Google. There is no separate avatar upload in Huddlekit.

Email notifications

You can control which emails Huddlekit sends you from your account page and from individual projects. See Managing email notifications for a full guide.

Account details

The account page also shows read-only information about your account:

  • Your user ID
  • When your account was created
  • Your sign-in method (Google or email)
  • When you last signed in

Deleting your account

Account deletion is handled by our support team. To request it, email support@huddlekit.com with the subject line "Delete my account" from the email address associated with your account.

Your account will be permanently deleted within 48 hours. Once deleted, all your personal data is removed and cannot be recovered.

A few things to be aware of before requesting deletion:

  • If you own a workspace, contact support@huddlekit.com to transfer ownership before requesting deletion. Workspace ownership cannot be transferred self-service. Workspaces owned by a deleted account may become inaccessible to your team.
  • Any active subscription should be cancelled before deletion to avoid further charges. See understanding plans and pricing.
  • Comments and feedback you left on projects you were invited to may be anonymised rather than removed, as they are part of other teams' records.
