What is a workspace?
A workspace is the top-level container in Huddlekit. It holds all your projects, team members, and billing settings. Think of it as your team or organization's home base. Every project — whether it is a website review, an uploaded document, or a web app — lives inside a workspace.
Create a workspace
When you first sign up for Huddlekit, the onboarding process will guide you through creating your workspace:
- Enter your display name.
- Enter a name for your workspace (for example, your company or team name).
- Click Continue.
You will be taken to your new workspace dashboard where you can start creating projects.
Switch between workspaces
If you belong to multiple workspaces, you can switch between them using the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar:
- Click the workspace name in the sidebar header.
- A dropdown will appear listing all your workspaces.
- Click the workspace you want to switch to.
Your active workspace is remembered so you will return to it on your next visit.
Workspace vs. project
| Concept | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Your team or organization. Contains projects, members, and billing. |
| Project | A single review target — a website, uploaded file, or web app with the widget. |
A workspace can hold many projects, and you can be a member of multiple workspaces.
Next steps
- Manage your workspace settings to customize your workspace.
- Invite team members to start collaborating.
- Create your first project inside the workspace.
